Volunteer Minister, Cindy Oleck, with the Field Control Secretary, Ruth Drye, and Michelle Obijala (bottom right) of the Why Not Prosper? organization in Philadelphia. This organization offers housing and help to women who have recently been released from prison or are recovering drug addicts or alcoholics. The Volunteer Ministers showed LRH solutions that can change these women's lives and show them Something Can Be Done About It!

Helen Campbell of the Church of Scientology of Pennsylvania attended Philadelphia's Columbia North Branch YMCA where she did an anti-drug event with sixty children on June 26th, the United Nations International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. These children were among hundreds of thousands of children across the globe participating in this day. These children were challenged to lead drug free lives and help others to do the same by getting the "The Truth About Drugs" booklets and taking the drug-free pledge.
